Stats

Agility > Crit > Mastery > Haste = Verse

Stat weights are terrible and you shouldn't use them except to make general guesses. As always, sim your character to determine what is an upgrade.

Tier-Set

We'll want to put our tier pieces on our Shoulders, Chest, Legs, and Hands. This means the Head is our off-piece. Having 4-piece is more important than having it in the correct slots. Off-pieces are only because the respective tier piece is statted poorly. Your 4-set bonus will always outweigh any potential stat gains.

2-Piece

The 2-Piece bonus increases Blade Dance damage.

4-Piece

The 4-Piece bonus increases our haste in meta.

Trinkets

  • Algeth'ar Puzzle Box is going to flat out be our best trinket for Fel-Scarred. You can farm it from Algeth'ar Academy. It's a 2 second channel on a 2 minute cooldown that greatly increases your mastery. Moving will cancel the channel. We'll line this up with every meta.
  • Radiant Plume/Umbral Plume is a good passive option from Belo'ren in March on Quel'Danas. Out of combat, you can toggle the trinket to Radiant (which gives mastery) or Umbral (which gives crit).
  • Gaze, although nerfed, is still a good option. It gives flat mastery and its proc gives main stat. It drops from Chimaerus in The Dreamrift raid.
  • Ranger-Captain gives agi and has an active that does damage to 2 targets based on your crit. Line this up with initiative if you have it. It comes from the final boss of The Voidspire raid.
  • Solarflare Prism comes from Skyreach. It gives agi and has a passive that increases our crit when proc'd, further increasing the less health our target has.
  • Undrempt God just gives agi and does passive damage. It drops from Chimaerus in The Dreamrift raid.

Crafting

Our best crafts will be armor pieces that we can put arcanoweave lining on. You never want to craft in a tier slot (Head, Shoulders, Chest, Legs, or Hands). This leaves Belt, Wrists, and Boots that you can put use this embellishment. When crafting, we'll use a Peerless to guarantee crit and mastery on our gear. Ideally, we'll craft Silvermoon Sneakers and Silvermoon Deflectors.

At the beginning of a tier, a weapon is always a good option to craft as high ilvl weapons greatly impact our damage. However, they fall off later into the tier because they cannot reach the maximum ilvl. If you choose to craft a weapon early, you'll want to craft a warglaive and use the Darkmoon:Hunt embellishment on it. Once you craft your 2nd armor piece, you'll remove your weapon embellishment to use the armor one instead.
